UCLL
UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) is one of the largest university colleges in Flanders, Belgium, and is part of the KU Leuven Association. The university college is spread over eight campuses, located in cities such as Leuven, Diest, Hasselt, Diepenbeek and Genk, across the provinces of Limburg and Flemish Brabant.
UCLL is known for the high quality of its teaching, research and regional development. The university college offers more than 30 professional Bachelor’s programmes (EQF 6) and as many lifelong learning programmes within five study areas: Education, Healthcare, Applied Social Studies, Applied Engineering and Technology and Business Management. Every year, around 14,000 students choose to study at UCLL. In addition, around 15,000 professionals attend training, seminars or workshops at the college every year. UCLL’s strong research base ensures that courses are always current and innovative.
Moreover, internationalisation is also in UCLL’s DNA: thinking across borders, sharing good practices and exchanging knowledge globally are core values of the university college. UCLL is actively involved in numerous European projects such as Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, and other EU programmes (ERDF, REC, AMIF, Interreg, etc.). The university college is a member of international education networks and works closely with European and global partners.
In this project, UCLL is promoting the programme among students. It is recruiting 20 students for a cross-border internship. The students also participate in the guest lectures and workshops organised annually in this project.
